How we create relationship clarity

When relationships become difficult, people often reach for advice first. RFMA takes a different approach, we begin with clarity by working across five core areas:

Something doesn’t feel right. You know there is a problem, but you may not yet understand its true nature, what is causing it, or what it means for the relationship.

We begin to see the situation clearly. Through assessment and exploration, the different parts of the situation begin to come into focus.

The problem becomes more precise. The question shifts from “What’s wrong?” to “What are we actually dealing with?”

You can consider the path forward. With greater understanding comes the ability to evaluate the options available: stay, leave, repair, prepare, or seek further support.

Clarity becomes a foundation for what comes next. Whether the outcome is preparation, repair, a new direction, or continued development, the work begins from a more informed position.

“We were ready to get married. But were we ready for marriage? We came to RFMA thinking we just needed to confirm that we were compatible. The process made us slow down and really examine the things we hadn’t talked about deeply enough - our expectations, finances, family and how we would handle difficult situations together.

It wasn’t about being told whether we should get married. It helped us understand what we were actually committing to?”

Frequently Asked Questions

We strive to create a unique experience for every couple and individual

The right programme depends on your circumstances, concerns and what you hope to understand or achieve. If you’re unsure where to begin, RFMA’s assessment and exploratory session can help establish a clearer understanding of your situation and identify an appropriate next step.

The assessment helps RFMA understand your circumstances before recommending the most appropriate pathway. Depending on the programme, you may need to complete an assessment before proceeding. If you’re unsure what applies to you, begin by contacting RFMA to understand the next step.

Yes. You can begin by seeking clarity about your own situation, even if your partner isn’t ready to participate. Understanding your perspective, concerns and options can be a meaningful starting point. The appropriate next step will depend on your circumstances and the support you need.

An exploratory session is an initial opportunity to examine your situation, understand your concerns and determine an appropriate way forward. A programme involves more structured engagement around a particular need, such as preparing for marriage, working through relationship difficulties or developing relationship skills.

Programme fees, schedules and availability may vary depending on the type of support you’re seeking. Contact RFMA or follow the registration link provided for your chosen programme to learn about current fees, upcoming sessions and enrolment requirements.

Not every situation requires the same approach. If your circumstances indicate that another form of professional support may be more appropriate, RFMA can discuss the next steps with you and, where possible, guide you towards a suitable alternative. The priority is helping you identify the support that best fits your situation.
